Monarda 'Blue Moon' is clothed in minty dark green leaves, and topped with clusters of 2.5" violet flowers...a favorite of foraging bees. This compact hybrid forms a well-mannered clump that fills out nicely in the garden, but not aggressively. Remarkably floriferous, resistant to powdery mildew, and sized for the middle of the pollinator garden, it’s covered in lavender-blue blossoms mid- to late summer. Plants thrive in full sun or partial shade and evenly moist soil (which helps avoid mildew). A wonderful plant loved by butterflies and hummingbirds.
