MAY 10th
Pick Up Day Info and FAQ

How and when do I pick up my plants?
Curbside pick-up will be available from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 only. While pick-up is available the whole day, we are providing a specific time window for each order to help us better manage the number of people we are trying to serve. You will receive an email with your scheduled pick-up time. If you are unable to meet your scheduled time, please come as close to that time window as possible. If you are picking up another person's order or another person is picking up for you, be sure you/they know the name on the order or have a hard copy of the order.

Curbside pick-up by car:
Please approach the building on southbound Bryant Avenue. There will be a check in near 43rd and Bryant. Have your order number (found at the top of your order summary) and the name on the order ready to share.

What happens if I forget to pick up my plants?
If you are unable to pick up your plants or have other questions, please email us at bartonplantsale@gmail.com. All plants not picked up by 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 10th will be considered donated to Barton. There is no pick-up on Sunday, May 11th.

Will there be an in-person sale at the same time and place as pick up?
Yes! The in-person sale is on Friday from 4-7:30 pm and on Saturday from 10-4:30 pm.
Shop our full selection of flowers, vegetables, herbs, baskets, plus beautiful Minnesota native and pollinator-friendly plants. We can accept cash or credit card payments.
What can I expect at the in-person sale?
A fun community event! We will have music, food, and plant experts to help you make your selections.
We’re thrilled to share that Hennepin County Master Gardeners will be on-site to answer your questions! On Saturday they will present on native plant basics at noon and veggie best practices at 1 pm.
On Saturday, you can grab coffee and donuts in the morning or hotdogs and brats from Lowry Hill Meats grilled by Tenant from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm while you shop the sale (available until we sell out)! Suggested donations for food can be made with cash or Paypal.

How can I help the Barton Plant Sale?
Spread the word!
Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors to this community event! All of the profits from the plants we sell go directly to the Barton Community School Foundation/PTO, and your support is crucial to funding experiential learning about food & plants, a teacher emeritus position, stipends to teachers for projects, field trips, and PTO event support. If the plant sale is a success the Foundation/PTO will have the funds to revive the Barton Spirit Garden next year.
Lend a hand!
We still need volunteers to support order pick-up and sale check-out, especially during Saturday sale hours. Sign up for a two-hour shift to help.
