  • Vates Blue Curled — Low, compact plants with finely curled bluish-green leaves. 55 days.

Care Tips Kale is a cool-season crop — plant outdoors in late April to early May, well before the summer heat sets in. Space 12–18 inches apart in rich, well-drained soil. Water consistently. Flavor actually improves after a light frost, making kale a great choice for extending your harvest into fall.
